Common questions
Does Donut Learn need the internet?
No. Lessons, read-aloud and games all work offline.
Is my child's progress saved?
Yes, on this device. Version 1.0 works without an account, so progress does not sync between devices. Deleting the app deletes the progress.
How do I open the Parent Area?
Tap "For parents" at the bottom of the home screen, then tap the four numbers shown in words.
How do I add or remove a child?
Parent Area → Learners. Tap "Add a learner", or choose a child to delete them. Up to four children per device.
My child forgot their Picture Code.
Open the Parent Area → Learners → choose the child → Set a new Picture Code.
How do I start over?
Parent Area → Data on this device → Delete all data on this device. This cannot be undone.
The voice is too quiet or too loud.
Parent Area → Settings → Sound has separate levels for Voice, Music and Sounds.
Can the app read questions out loud?
Your child can tap the speaker on any question to hear it. To read each question automatically, go to Parent Area → Learners → choose the child → Read questions aloud.
Does it cost anything?
No. Donut Learn 1.0 is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
Report a problem
In the app, open the Parent Area → Contact us. It starts an email with the app version, days since install and number of Lessons finished. You can edit it before sending. Please don't include your child's real name.
